After each seminar I gave, I received many emails asking to expand on a number of topics, to provide materials for brainstorming and exercises that would help implement the Market Entry Strategy that is taught. The book is my attempt to take the basic materials and turn them into a much more complete guidebook that entrepreneurs can use during their early journey into their market.
The book has as background the transformation of the startup ecosystem from the early days of chasm crossing to an environment where the key element of startup success is to stand out and be different. The philosophy of The Market Entry Strategy is that most decisions are actually entirely into the startup teams hands if they are willing to sit down and have the discipline to structure their thinking and build a vision, mission and plans to serve as reference during their execution.
The book takes the teams from the inception and ideation to the construction of a clear positioning and messaging and then to the understanding of their sales strategy and execution. Through each chapter, the readers find practical hands-on exercises to perform to help them come up with their own market entry approach.
